The piece is written for ATB with divisi. making it ideal for small choirs of Choral Scholars, Vicars Choral, Lay clerks, or Chamber Choirs. The piece is short and easy to learn while maintaining a unique and evocative harmonic palette

Mass of Saint Anne (2023) - Trebles and Organ
Mass of Saint Anne was written for the Diocese of Leeds Singing programme. It is a simple and tuneful setting with many memorable recurring themes and motifs which makes it easy to teach to young choirs and congregations. The setting perfectly captures the nature of the texts, with a triumphant and joyous Gloria, a mysterious Sanctus, and tender Agnus Dei making the piece perfect for uplifting and animating the liturgy!
Lighten Our Darkness (2024) - Unaccompanied SATB
A simple but compelling setting of a traditional Anglican collect by Thomas Cranmer. Written for David Falconer, Director of Music at St Georges Church, Belfast. The piece creates a reflective and moving sound world while skilfully maintaining a 4 part texture with very accessible and intuitive voice leading. Lighten Our Darkness is one of a series of pieces which Oliver Heath has written with aim of making new music engaging and accessible for choirs of all skill levels and sizes. The piece is simple enough to be quickly and effectively rehearsed by choirs of all levels, while engaging enough to satisfy the most experienced musicians!
